Collision Involving SUV and Cattle

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) reported that the incident occurred at Iyana-Oworo, where the cattle were crossing the highway on their way to the Ogudu area. LASTMA officials quickly cleared the SUV, identified by its plate number AAA 818 HV, to restore traffic flow and subsequently handed the vehicle over to the Ogudu police station for further investigation.
Another Accident: Mazda Bus Distracted Driver
In a separate incident, a commercial Mazda bus collided with a Korope mini-bus on the Ifako Bridge, also heading towards the Ogudu area. Preliminary investigations indicated that the driver of the Mazda bus, identified by plate number MUS 576 YJ, lost control while eating, leading to the unfortunate crash. This accident occurred around 10:30 a.m. and resulted in injuries to five passengers, prompting a swift response from LASTMA officers, who provided immediate assistance to the injured.
