The LP leadership, including National Chairman Julius Abure, condemned Adeyanju’s comments as false and defamatory. The party stressed that it had consistently debunked such claims and remained a vocal opposition to the current government.

LP Stands Firm in Opposition

The Labour Party made it clear that it is the most visible opposition force in Nigeria today. The LP stated that Julius Abure has been a prominent critic of the government, highlighting systemic failures in governance. The party has consistently critiqued the current administration’s policies while proposing alternatives for a transparent, accountable leadership. LP remains committed to promoting accountable governance by challenging policies and offering solutions for Nigeria’s progress.

Labour Party’s Post-Election Efforts

Following the 2023 general elections, the Labour Party has continued its work to reform the political system. The LP has taken proactive steps by launching the Electoral Reform Committee to ensure fairer, more credible elections in the future. Additionally, the party created a Political Education committee to promote political awareness and reform among Nigerians, aiming to instill positive changes in citizens’ engagement with politics.
