Governor Babajide Sanwoolu Addresses Mohbad’s Death

In a comprehensive statement, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwoolu has addressed the public concerning the tragic passing of Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Imole Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad. Sanwoolu assures that he is not oblivious to the gravity of the situation and has been working closely with relevant authorities.

“I would like to assure everyone that I am not oblivious to the sad passing of Mohbad,” said Governor Sanwoolu. He revealed that they have been keenly following the ongoing investigations and have now invited the Department of State Services (DSS) to join the probe.

“In order to boost the investigations, I have invited the DSS to widen the dragnet with inter-agency collaboration and the use of best-in-class technology to unearth the truth,” Sanwoolu stated. He has also instructed that anyone found to have played a role in Mohbad’s death will face legal repercussions after a thorough investigation.

The Governor further appealed to the public to provide any vital information that could assist the investigation process. “I have also appealed to the investigating team to guarantee the confidentiality and protection of all witnesses,” he added.

The Police and the DSS have committed to keeping the public updated on their efforts. “They have promised to brief the public periodically,” Sanwoolu confirmed.

In conclusion, Governor Babajide Sanwoolu urged fans and friends of the deceased to remain calm and refrain from making inflammatory statements. “Staying calm and following the process will be our most solemn tribute to the memory of the departed talent,” he said.

Sanwoolu ended his statement by commiserating with Mohbad’s family, friends, and fans worldwide. “I wish everyone love and light, and may his soul rest in peace. Amen,” he concluded.
