Nigerian Army Rescues Abducted Victims in Kaduna

Troops of the Nigerian Army I Division in Kaduna rescued 16 abducted victims, thwarting a kidnap attempt by extremists in Tantatu Community, Kajuru Local Government. Recently, there have been series of banditry and kidnapping escapades in Kaduna, which has been consistent, and which has instigated fear and feeling of insecurity among the people of Kaduna State.

However, the question remains: “Why Kaduna State?” and “Why this string of kidnappings and banditry?” Currently, what’s certain is the occurrence of these heinous acts and the identity of their perpetrators. As for the “Why,” that remains an unanswered question.

The Nigerian Army’s successful operation was in response to intelligence on Sunday night, engaging insurgents in a fierce battle.

The troops of the Nigerian Army I Division relentlessly pursued insurgents, rescuing 16 abducted victims in Kajuru. Consequently, they continued their search and rescue operations. The Chief of Army Staff praised the troops for their success and urged vigilance in ongoing counter-insurgency operations.

Troops continue scouring the bushes, extending search and rescue efforts to free more victims and thwart insurgent activities. Their ongoing efforts aim to extract remaining victims and hinder the malicious actions of the insurgents. They aim to liberate all troubled areas.
